Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as a collision estimator or in a related role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CCC1, Mitchell, and other collision repair estimating software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with customers, insurance companies, and team members.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Nexsyis management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service by clearly explaining repair plans, maintaining ongoing communication during the repair process, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction upon completion.
  • Estimating: Demonstrated proficiency in collision estimating processes, including body, frame, mechanical, and paint operations. Capable of conducting comprehensive damage assessments and producing accurate, detailed repair estimates.
  • Insurance Coordination: Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure repairs are approved and align with insurance and Kniesel’s standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with body technicians and other team members to manage repair timelines and deliver high-quality repairs.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Perform quality inspections to ensure repairs meet Kniesel’s standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all regulatory guidelines.
