About The Position

AF Collision is a trusted, locally-owned collision repair shop serving American Fork and the surrounding area. We’re dedicated to delivering high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team and help keep our shop running smoothly. The Collision Estimator plays a key role in our day-to-day operations by managing repair plans and customer expectations. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy with data entry, ability to work with insurance companies, and a customer service mindset. Prior experience estimating and working with insurance companies is a plus.

Requirements

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy shop environment.
• Previous experience with estimating in a collision repair shop is a plus.
• Basic computer skills (experience with shop management systems helpful).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Ability to earn and maintain I-Car Gold status in estimating.
• Passionate about safe repairs by providing quality repair estimates.

Responsibilities

• Estimate the cost of repairs, including labor and parts.
• Prepare and submit repair cost blueprints, including labor and parts.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and insurance companies.
• Review and negotiate repair costs with insurance adjusters.
• Prepare detailed repair plans and reports.
• Follow up with customers to schedule repairs.
• Answer phones and provide professional customer service.
• Manage customer expectations and CSI scores.
