The Collision Estimator at Caliber Collision is responsible for providing exceptional customer service throughout the vehicle repair process. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating communications and ensuring a smooth experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery. The estimator will also handle repair estimates, documentation, and compliance with industry standards.

  • Estimate all drive-in appointments and walk-in customers, completing repair plans.
  • Conduct process reviews with customers regarding their vehicle repairs.
  • Open all files with BAR (CA) and DRP compliance, including obtaining proper authorizations.
  • Check in vehicles upon customer drop-off and prepare necessary paperwork for final customer packets prior to vehicle delivery.
  • Document post-repair plans and provide vehicle status updates to customers.
  • Complete total loss administration and perform final quality control, including test drives.
  • Deliver completed vehicles to customers and ensure compliance with Caliber safety rules and standards.
  • Assist with additional duties such as washing cars, cleaning the shop, and supporting teammates.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance policy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Working estimating knowledge, including familiarity with relevant systems.
  • Strong sales orientation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
