About The Position
The after school mentor will be responsible to supervise an established and growing after school program while acting as a positive adult role model, coach, and mentor. Each day they will help students in grades 7-12, achieve academic success through homework help. This job is very interactive with the students. You will help them and guide them in an after school setting. Projected Schedule: MTF 2:30 pm - 6:30 pm, WTh 1:30 pm - 5:30 pm Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $17.00 / hr.
Requirements
- People who like to and have the patience to work with youth
- People who want experience working in a school
- Ability to pass a background check
- If not pursuing a college degree, willing to complete a ParaPro exam administered by the district
- High School or equivalent
