Hello, we're The Arc Oneida-Lewis Founded in 1954, The Arc, Oneida-Lewis Chapter is a premier human services agency in the healthcare field. What's your day like? As a new College Works Life Skills Assistant at The Arc Oneida-Lewis, you can expect each day to be filled with engaging and rewarding activities. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate life skills workshops that empower individuals and enhance their daily living abilities. You’ll work closely with participants, guiding them through various hands-on learning experiences that promote independence and confidence. Daily tasks may include planning activities, preparing materials, and conducting group sessions that foster communication and teamwork. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, allowing for a consistent routine that enhances productivity and teamwork. Each day will bring new challenges and opportunities for problem-solving, ensuring that you remain energized and driven to make a positive impact.
