Working independently and exercising sound judgment and discretion, the College Success Coach is a proactive, relational guide for a cohort of Liberty University residential students. Through intentional coaching relationships, the purpose is to develop personalized success strategies that support students' academic, personal, and vocational goals. Coaches help students define what success means to them, recognizing that these goals may change, and provide ongoing encouragement and guidance as students refine their goals. The Coach serves students by fostering a sense of belonging, engagement, and perseverance by identifying barriers to success early, leveraging student data to inform outreach, and connecting students with campus resources and support systems. The role also involves tracking student progress and contributing to data-informed student success initiatives. This full-time staff position is part of the College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS) and reports to the Assistant Director of College Success Services.
