Position Summary The Intern is responsible for providing support and coverage to various areas of the Credit Union. The intern will be offered real work experience and opportunities to interact with the departments and leaders of the organization. We foster a team atmosphere by having our interns work with current leaders and team members on particular projects and participate in social events and educational sessions with team members at various levels of the organization. Our program is based on creating a future path for students interested in the financial services industry.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Wellby’s organizational functions and general operating policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of personal computer, utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
  • Knowledge of general office procedures and practices, business English, spelling, punctuation, and arithmetic.
  • Skilled in operating computer equipment and general office machines such as personal computers, copiers, projection equipment, audio/video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video Communication, and adding devices.
  • Ability to work with multiple software programs concurrently to complete transactions.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to efficiently understand and follow oral and written instructions, perform routine duties without close supervision, deal effectively with the public, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with other team members.
  • Ability to coordinate several concurrent activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Currently enrolled in a four-year degree program from an accredited college or university.
  • Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Computer skills a must; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products or related software.
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Possess the eligibility to work and remain in the US without sponsorship.
  • Candidates must be able to work full-time for the summer of May-July 2025 (40 hours/week, generally 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., 1 hour meal period Monday-Friday).
