Under immediate direction, performs a variety of tasks that focus on providing learning opportunities and exposure to a wide range of activities. Duties may range from special projects directed toward particular objectives or duties typical of the organization that supplement existing department operations. May participate in research efforts including collection, assembly, and tabulation of data. This job is intended for college students with an interest in science, engineering, medicine, or business operations to increase their knowledge and obtain on the job training and experience. Under direct supervision or clearly defined procedures, performs a variety of clerical and research duties and accomplishes routine tasks.
