Currently Hiring Full and Part- Time Security Officers For our College Station Site. You MUST LIVE IN COLLEGE STATION TO WORK AT THIS SITE!!!!!! Pay Rate $ 15.00 - $18.00 Hourly Full and Part Time shift available Weekend and holiday availability is required The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security or customer service fields. State training and licensing assistance may be available for qualified candidates. Must have 1 year of Security Experience Must have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO COMMUTE TO WORK ON TIME Must have be able to work in all weather conditions Must maintain a professional character and demeanor Be a Team Player Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time Must be able to commit to the schedule you choose This LOCATION IS IN COLLEGE STATION TX!!!!! IF YOU DO NO RESIDE IN COLLEGE STATION PLEASE DO NOT APPLY TO THIS JOB POSTING!!!!!!!! Please make sure you can commute to the work location!! Security Officers, sometimes referred to as Security Guards, deter criminal activity, protect property and enforce rules on a property. Some monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position, while others patrol areas and do security checks. In factories and offices, Security Officers provide protection for equipment and workers along with checking the credentials of vehicles and individuals coming and going from the premises. Available Security Officer Positions: Rover : Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior, etc. Gatehouse: Greet residents and guests with a friendly demeanor, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons to the property, etc. Front Desk: Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, customer service, access control, greeting residents and guests with a courteous demeanor, monitor CCTV camera systems, announce visitors, distribute packages, etc.

Requirements

You MUST LIVE IN COLLEGE STATION TO WORK AT THIS SITE!!!!!!
Must have 1 year of Security Experience
Must have RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION TO COMMUTE TO WORK ON TIME
Must have be able to work in all weather conditions
Must maintain a professional character and demeanor
Be a Team Player
Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to commit to the schedule you choose
At least 18 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to stand for up to 8-hour periods
Must be able to do extensive walking and stair climbing
Must be able to lift up to 10lbs
Valid state licensing, if applicable
Strong customer service skills
Familiarity with report writing
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

Nice To Haves

Previous security experience is not required however is a PLUS!
