About The Position

The College Recruiter - Graduate Recruitment for the College of Business Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago is responsible for enhancing the recruitment process to increase applications and grow enrollments in the graduate programs. This role involves building relationships with prospective students and representing the UIC Business Liautaud Graduate School at various events, while also supporting the admissions cycle and collaborating with the admissions committee.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Professional work experience in university admissions and recruitment, corporate sales or recruitment, and/or student advising.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree in business, higher education, college student personnel, or closely related field.
  • 2 years relevant professional work experience.
  • Experience with business students and curricula.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and application management systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and sensitivity to working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Assistant Dean for Student Recruitment and Director of Graduate Recruitment and Enrollment in developing and executing a recruiting strategy for the graduate programs.
  • Actively recruit candidates for the school's programs by representing the UIC Business Liautaud Graduate School at recruiting fairs, corporate events, campus visits, and information sessions.
  • Advise prospective graduate students on degree selection appropriate to their future personal and professional goals.
  • Analyze and evaluate application information using CRM tools and produce data and reports to support enrollment management.
  • Serve as an active member of the school's admissions committee and interview candidates for the program.
  • Collaborate with Directors of Graduate Studies to identify potential recruiting opportunities and support the admissions process.
  • Initiate new programming and participate in special projects as assigned.
