About The Position

The Gaylor Electric Summer Internship Program offers college students a meaningful opportunity for career growth, combining access to industry-leading technical skill development and world-class professionalism training. Over the past three years, the program has welcomed students from over 70 high school and collegiate institutions, with more than 200 students participating in the summer program across various national Gaylor Electric locations and job sites. Interns will engage in resume development, interview preparation, business best practices discussions, and professional headshots, culminating in an academic capstone presentation or craft skills assessment. The program spans 8 to 10 weeks and is a paid opportunity, allowing students to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings and develop key professional skills.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Architectural, Electrical, Civil, or Construction), Occupational Health & Safety, Business, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or related fields.
  • Excited to visit and travel to new locations and projects.
