GCU Traditional Campus - Phoenix, AZ: Instruction for our Fall Semester begins on September 8, 2026, and ends on December 20, 2026 – Final Course Grades are due on December 27, 2026 Course: College Mathematics The course covers mathematics that matter in modern society. Key areas of focus include financial literacy, numerically-based decision making, growth, scale, and numerical applications. The course applies basic college-level mathematics to real-life problems and is appropriate for students whose majors do not require college algebra or higher.

Requirements

Master’s in Mathematics OR Statistics OR Closely related field which requires calculus or above, or statistics coursework, such as Physics and Engineering
Candidates with a Master's degree in any discipline and 3-5 years of experience teaching high school or post-secondary applied mathematics may also be considered
Your unofficial transcripts for any applicable conferred graduate degrees

Nice To Haves

PhD in Mathematics OR Statistics OR Closely related field with high school or post-secondary teaching experience

Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
