About The Position

THIS POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REMOTE WORK AND WILL BE ON-SITE AT THE DISTRICT 4 HEADQUARTERS OFFICE LOCATED AT 2088 SOUTH ARLINGTON ROAD, AKRON, OH 44306 Who we are looking for: Positive team player Honest, Punctual, Trustworthy, Respectful Willing to learn and work with industry leading technologies such as HP and Cisco What you will be doing: Helpdesk-Password Resets, Software installations, and assist users with basic troubleshooting with programs such as Office 365 Suite Hardware installs, printer maintenance and troubleshooting, assist with physical inventory of equipment Imaging and configuring Windows laptops and Desktops, configuring Chromebooks Basic networking and cable management What's in it for you: PAID Internship - the rate is based on your rank in school (see below supplemental information) Flexible hours based around your school schedule Real world experience The opportunity to work on an important mission Our interns work year around and are eligible to participate in the intern program as long as they are enrolled in an accredited college or university and are in good academic standing. Ohio Public Employees Retirement System OPERS is the retirement system for State of Ohio employees. The employee contributes 10%25 of their salary towards their retirement. Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and in good academic standing.
  • Student should be enrolled in college degree program directly related to the Information Technology field.
  • If operating a state-owned vehicle, must show proof of valid driver's license.

Responsibilities
