Founded in 1837 and named after Chief Justice John Marshall, definer of the Constitution, Marshall University advances the public good through innovative, accredited educational programs. We are located in downtown Huntington, West Virginia, with additional locations in South Charleston, Point Pleasant, Teays Valley and Beckley. Marshall University's mission, inspired by our Vision and Creed, includes a commitment to offer a wide range of high quality, affordable, and accessible undergraduate, graduate, and professional education that prepares students to think, learn, work, and live in an evolving global society. The College Enrollment Coordinator (CEC) in the Office of Recruitment is responsible for the overall management and coordination of academic college-specific recruiting, yield and retention efforts for designated academic colleges. This includes college-specific aspects of new student recruitment, current student engagement, non-returning student engagement, and non-completer student engagement. CECs collaborate with MU Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs to plan and execute academic college-specific student engagement efforts with continuous evaluation of college enrollment efforts and outcomes. Participation in on-campus and/or in-person university recruitment or retention events is required, and there may be occasions where off-campus recruitment/yield efforts are necessary.
