The Risk Adjustment Co-op will work with the Government Markets Risk Adjustment Analytics team. The Co-op student will contribute to the development of data analysis for a variety of analytic solutions focused on Risk Accuracy and Performance management supporting Government Markets (Medicare Advantage, US Consumer and Small Group). Contributing activities include, but are not limited to, development of insight reports, competitive landscape analysis, cohort performance, and maintaining process documents. The Co-op will have exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to create visualizations of data as well as SQL and Python for data manipulation and business analytics. A key component of this co-op is a final presentation on a cohort of choice (e.g., low-income seniors 75+, pregnant women receiving subsidy/cost share reduction, under 65 disabled population, etc.) and include information such as descriptive statistics, disease prevalence, utilization statistics, quality statistics, and recommendations for achieving IBX Mission goal for this population.
