About The Position

Southwest Mobile Storage is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collector based on performance and business needs. This individual will be responsible for managing past-due accounts, securing timely payments, and maintaining professional relationships throughout the collections process. Pay Rate $22-$25. Requirements

2-year prior experience in collections, customer service, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with skip tracing techniques is a plus.

Responsibilities

Proactively contact customers with delinquent accounts to negotiate and establish payment plans.
Prioritize accounts to ensure effective follow-up and resolution within target timelines.
Professionally manage escalated collection situations and resolve them constructively.
Perform light skip tracing to help locate clients with outdated or missing contact information.
Maintain accurate documentation of all communications, agreements, and outcomes.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve payment issues efficiently.
Meet departmental collection targets while upholding company policies and standards.
