About The Position
The Collector III at Hoag Memorial Hospital serves as the account representative responsible for resolving payments and accounts with insurance companies, government payors, and patients. This role involves evaluating claims, initiating appeals for underpayments, and ensuring timely correspondence with payors and patients. The position requires a strong understanding of the Revenue Cycle processes and managed care contracts, as well as the ability to interpret billing documents and assist patients with their benefit plans.
