About The Position

The Collector for Drug & BA Testing at Quest Diagnostics plays a crucial role in obtaining medical information from patients, conducting specimen collections, and ensuring compliance with established procedures. Requirements

• DOT Certification and necessary documentation prior to job offer.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Certified BAT/Urine Collector preferred.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage in the field to ensure collections are completed accurately and on time.
• Collect specimens according to established procedures using DOT guidelines.
• Complete random and emergency observed urine collections as needed.
• Label specimens and complete Chain of Custody (COC) forms accurately.
• Upload, fax, or mail COC and Alcohol Testing Forms within 24 hours.
• Package specimens for transport and ship to the designated lab.
• Maintain records of each specimen collected and support Record Deletion processes when directed.
• Provide customer service to clients and communicate appropriately with all stakeholders.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in good repair, and maintain necessary supplies.
• Participate in teams and special events when asked.
