About The Position

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of accounts and contact customers to obtain outstanding payment balances. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in customer service and B2B collections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B collections experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Prefer experience with Oracle/Net Suite, GetPaid, or other large ERP applications like SAP.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Thoughtful, resourceful, and a creative thinker.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical and business problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and setting priorities skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Some college education.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of up to 500 accounts - primarily small to medium sized accounts.
  • Contacts customers via phone or email to obtain payment status from customers regarding past due invoices.
  • Promptly responds to internal and external customer requests via phone and email.
  • Reconciles customer accounts.
  • Creates/sends customer's statements and invoices copies.
  • Collaborates with several internal teams - Cash Applications, Billing, Customer Experience and Commercial teams.
  • Uses technology to support all collections efforts.
  • Reduce past due balances through high engagement with internal and external candidates.
  • Target 40 to 50+/- quality customer contacts per day.
  • Process refund requests.
