About The Position

This is a Collections Specialist Supervisor - Revenue Administrator III - SES position in the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management, Field Operations - Collection Process, located in the Lake City/OOS Service Center. The incumbent prioritizes and allocates workloads, manages vacancies, identifies and analyzes workflow, performs costs/benefits analyses, implements process improvements, manages a work unit by establishing expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and fostering open communication, and creates and maintains reports and presentations. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for contacting taxpayers to resolve tax liabilities, recommending compromises, making corrections, and collecting tax, penalty, interest, and fees due to the State of Florida.

Requirements

  • Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue, General Tax Administration Program.
  • Three years of experience working in the General Tax Administration Program, Receivables Management Collection Process.
