Requirements

  • HS diploma or GED

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities.
  • Contact customers and agencies via phone and email to follow up on overdue payments.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on collection activities and outstanding receivables.
  • Provide summaries and updates to finance leadership.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to customer accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues.
  • Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of customer information.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Keep detailed records of all communications and actions taken regarding collections.
  • Prepare documentation for legal proceedings if necessary.
  • Manage and mitigate risks associated with collections.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to improve rates and reduce outstanding receivables.
  • Collaborate with other departments for a cohesive approach to collections and customer service.
