About The Position

Must live within 50 miles of the Foundever Fayetteville site: 921 Strickland Bridge Rd, Fayetteville, NC 28304 Job Overview Customer Service Representative will be supporting one the largest providers in the U.S. for military service members and their families. Associates will be servicing inbound and outbound calls from customers concerning collection policies, procedures, and strategies for resolving past due accounts. Duties will include collecting past due payments, complete skip locate functions when necessary. Associates will be compliant with federal regulations regarding banking, security and privacy regulations. As a third-party associate, this will be a main factor in their work along with servicing the members with all banking requests. This is a fast paced, problem solving, and member centric unit of the enterprise. We are looking for like-minded and skilled individuals. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Required: A minimum of 4 months of collections experience to hit the ground running!
  • Availability: Must have open availability during our hours of operation – flexibility is key!

  • Communication Skills: Ability to convey information clearly and listen actively to customers' concerns.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate terms and find mutually agreeable solutions for debt repayment.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Quickly identifying issues and providing effective solutions to help customers resolve their debt situations.
  • Patience: Remaining calm and composed, especially when dealing with difficult customers.
  • Persuasion Skills: Influencing customers to take positive actions towards repayment.
  • Resilience: Ability to handle rejection and maintain motivation despite potential negative interactions.
  • Attention to Detail: Carefully managing customer information and ensuring accuracy in documentation and follow-ups.
  • Conflict Resolution: Skills to de-escalate tense situations and reach a satisfactory resolution.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust communication styles based on the customer’s demeanor and circumstances.
  • System Navigation: Proficiency in navigating system tools to search for answers & information.
