About The Position

Incumbents are responsible for performing skilled work to inspection, video, clean, maintain, and operate the collections system which includes pipelines, manholes, and lift stations. Incumbents act as resource to other workers, train others in the use of equipment and machinery, manage inventory, and keep records utilizing a computerized maintenance management system. Incumbents are responsible for the inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the storm water system and components. Incumbents may direct and oversee work of an assigned crew as directed by the supervisor or lead.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Three years of directly related wastewater collection system maintenance and operation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
• Must have a valid Arizona Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class B or higher with a tanker endorsement at the time of hire.
• Must have an Arizona State Grade 3 Wastewater Collection System Operator Certification.

Responsibilities
