About The Position

Mission One is seeking mission-driven professionals to support national security programs in Collections Management, Counterintelligence (CI), and HUMINT Operations . This role is structured to build a flexible bench of tradecraft-capable personnel who can support customer requirements across the Defense, Homeland Security, and Intelligence Community environments. Depending on your expertise, you will support functions such as collection planning and synchronization, HUMINT targeting, CI support, source management, and operational intelligence requirements management . Candidates may specialize in a single area or contribute across multiple domains.

Requirements

Active Secret / TS / TS-SCI clearance (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Intelligence Studies, Security Studies, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Political Science, or related field.
3+ years experience in collections management, CI, HUMINT operations support, targeting, or related intelligence operations roles.
Demonstrated experience supporting operational or intelligence mission requirements.
Ability to operate with professionalism and discretion in sensitive environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain quality under time constraints.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting DHS, DoD, Combatant Commands, or Intelligence Community operations.
Familiarity with intelligence cycle integration: collection requirements → tasking → collection → exploitation → dissemination.
Experience in one or more of the following:
Collection deck development and synchronization
HUMINT reporting familiarity and exploitation workflows
CI support to operational missions
Targeting support (human and/or technical)
Experience operating in SCIF environments and working with secure systems.
Knowledge of structured mission workflows and operational planning integration.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage intelligence collection requirements , ensuring alignment to mission priorities and decision-maker needs.
Translate operational requirements into collection strategies, collection decks, and tasking recommendations.
Coordinate collection synchronization across stakeholders, analytic teams, and collection disciplines.
Produce collection plans, collection management documentation, source-support packages, and operational intelligence products .
Support CI and HUMINT operations through tradecraft-informed planning, documentation, and operational coordination.
Manage RFIs and ensure collection responses align to timelines, standards, and mission objectives.
Assist with identifying gaps in intelligence and recommending collection strategies to close those gaps.
Conduct targeting support (person, network, and technology targeting) based on mission requirements.
Maintain compliance with operational policies, security standards, and customer guidelines.
Brief collection strategy, CI insights, or HUMINT support recommendations to mission stakeholders.
