About The Position

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our collections team. The responsibilities include, and are not limited to, customer service, collections, and account management. The collections department is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and this is an in-office role. High Character is at the Core of Locke Supply culture. Who is Locke Supply? Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or two years of experience in collections
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently when needed, but also able to work in a team environment
Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Excel and ability to learn new computer systems
Self-motivated and willing to learn and try new things
1-3 years of beginner bonds and lien experience

Responsibilities

Contacting customers and or sales associates concerning their early past due balances
Collections of past due accounts within Locke Supply with varying levels of delinquent amounts
Work closely with sales, credit, and accounting teams as needed.
Manage AR portfolio between $8-12 Million
Take payments from customers on outstanding accounts.
Clearly communicate with customers
Advise customers of the next steps in the collections process
Work independent and as a part of the collection team
