About The Position

BRG is seeking a temporary part-time Collections Administrator Assistant to support its Collections Department. This entry-level role will provide administrative assistance and general support for collections-related functions. The position reports directly to the Collections Manager and is designed for candidates interested in gaining office experience in a professional services environment. Successful candidates should be detail-oriented, eager to learn, and committed to providing accurate, high-quality work product. A strong interest in developing organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team, is essential.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Prior office or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new systems.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks with guidance.
  • Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Collections team.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing client forms (e.g., vendor and ACH forms).
  • Help with processing client refunds under supervision.
  • Support updates to client information and matter records.
  • Handle ad hoc administrative projects and requests as assigned.
