About The Position

The Collections Analyst is responsible for managing assigned customer accounts with a primary focus on collections, past-due balances, and payment resolution. This role plays a critical part in driving timely cash collection through proactive outreach, clear communication, and effective issue resolution, while maintaining strong and professional customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance or accounting role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in customer outreach—particularly over the phone
  • High attention to detail and strong Excel skills for tracking, reporting, and analysis
  • Customer-focused, professional, and persistent approach to problem-solving

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage assigned customer accounts and aging reports to prioritize and resolve past-due balances
  • Perform outbound collection efforts via phone and email to secure payment commitments and resolve delinquent accounts
  • Send invoices, payment reminders, and account statements to support collection efforts and customer follow-up
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment issues in partnership with internal teams
  • Accurately document collection activity, customer commitments, and follow-ups in Workday
  • Identify high-risk accounts, missed payment commitments, or recurring issues and escalate as needed
  • Assist with monthly collections reporting, aging analysis, and accounts receivable reconciliation
