Collections Agent

The Collections Agent position at ADT Commercial involves contacting and collecting on past due accounts, specifically National, 1-Touch, and 1-Touch + accounts. The role requires making payment arrangements with customers while providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and placing inbound and outbound collection calls, negotiating balances on customer accounts, and performing thorough research and analysis on customer accounts. Additionally, the agent will handle cancellations of non-pay accounts, escalate slow-pay issues to upper management, and review aging reports to ensure timely collections. In this role, the agent will respond to written correspondence and miscellaneous letter requests, write up regular cancellations when necessary, and process account financial adjustments. The position also involves comprehending and interpreting contracts, requesting contracts and letters/cancellations as needed, and assisting in special projects. Documentation of actions taken is crucial, as is the review of account documentation for accuracy. This is an on-site position located at 4221 W John Carpenter Freeway, Irving, TX 75063, and requires a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong communication skills.
