About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience
• Must possess Grade 1 Collection Systems Certification or have the ability to obtain the Certification within one year of employment
• Must possess CDL-B License with Tank Endorsement
• Proficient in the use of personal computers and software necessary to complete the requirements of this position
• Must complete training for confined space entry, an eight hour Hazmat training, and first aid/CPR training
• High School diploma or certified equivalent; experience in lieu of education will be considered

Responsibilities

• Operates sewer and catch basin cleaning equipment
• Inspects, maintains and repairs sanitary sewers, CSOs, pump stations and storm water control structures
• Performs preventative maintenance on collection system
• Responds to emergency calls regarding collection system back-ups
• Assists Collection System Technician
• Collects flow data from CSOs and pump stations
• Performs other related duties
