About The Position

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one within six months.
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain productivity and safety.
• Availability to work overtime on an emergency and/or call-in basis.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to speak and understand Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, operational, and repair tasks for the wastewater collection system and pump stations.
• Operate maintenance and construction equipment including air compressors and jack hammers.
• Assist in the operation of hydro cleaners and sewer vacuum trucks.
• Clean wastewater collection systems, storm drains, and pump stations.
• Inspect pump stations and remove debris as needed.
• Conduct traffic control in high traffic areas during maintenance activities.
• Perform line locating and marking throughout the sewer and distribution systems.
• Maintain company-assigned vehicles in a clean and safe condition.
• Attend training and safety meetings as necessary.
