Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Previous experience in collections, customer service, or call center environment (1-2 years preferred)
• Highly proficient in English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to actively listen and document client correspondence
• Basic math and accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in using computer systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office (primarily Excel and Outlook)
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism under tense interactions
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work 8am-5pm EST

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Contact clients via phone, email, regarding past due accounts
• Maintain detailed records of all collection activity
• Follow up on accounts to ensure collection efforts have been satisfactory
• Educate debtors on their obligations and options
• Meet or exceed weekly performance targets
• Handle sensitive consumer information with confidentiality and professionalism
