About The Position

The HR Partner Colleague Relations serves as a trusted partner, providing guidance and support in colleague relations to managers and colleagues within the Regional Health Ministry (RHM). This role focuses on fostering a fair and collaborative working environment, implementing colleague relations policies, and managing colleague relations matters, including investigations and internal complaints. The HR Partner collaborates with HR Business Partners and leadership to enhance the organizational culture and ensure compliance with HR policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Labor and Industrial Relations, or a related field.
• Three or more years of experience in HR or colleague relations.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws related to HR and colleague relations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Workday or similar HR systems.
• Knowledge of employment laws and their application in operating environments.
• Demonstrated customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and support in colleague relations to RHM management and colleagues.
• Implement and manage colleague relations policies, processes, and programs.
• Conduct investigations and respond to internal colleague complaints.
• Support colleague relations initiatives and projects.
• Ensure compliance and consistency in the administration of colleague relations policies and services.
• Document findings and outcomes of investigations and make recommendations for resolution.
• Process HR-related transactions and ensure compliance with policies.
• Coordinate colleague relations management training as needed.
• Advocate for fair workplace practices in accordance with MercyOne's mission and values.
