About The Position

Under the supervision and evaluation of the Colleague Health & Wellness Manager, assists in meeting the occupational health needs of the MercyOne Northeast Iowa. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. Colleague Infection Control (TB surveillance, post exposure follow-up, post exposure prophylaxis, respiratory fit testing, immunization administration, compiles infection control data, etc.) Investigates and assists in reducing possible environmental hazards Performs pre-placement history and physical assessment for new colleagues Performs health assessments for current colleagues Assesses occupational injury/illnesses and administers first aid Performs case management of worker's compensation claims including OSHA log documentation Promotes culture of wellness / performs health promotion activities Hours/Schedule: .9 FTE, 8 hour shifts Days Monday - Friday Weekend call rotations

Requirements

Active IA RN license
Minimum 2 years recent clinical experience in nursing required
