About The Position

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience as an appraisal reviewer, credit underwriter, residential appraiser, or a combination equaling 5 or more years.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Collateral Management System.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on control.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• College degree in business and/or equivalent work experience.
• Licensed or Certified Appraiser license.
• Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements.
• FHA/VA appraisal review experience.

Responsibilities

• Review moderately to highly complex residential appraisal reports to ensure compliance with Chase and investor requirements.
• Evaluate risk and fraud exposure to protect the bank's profits.
• Reconcile findings with published guidelines and address variances in loan files.
• Stay updated on collateral policy changes that impact Collateral Review.
• Analyze appraisals and collateral documentation to ensure compliance with investor requirements.
• Communicate appraisal credibility, value support, and subject marketability to appropriate individuals within JPMorgan Chase.
• Achieve and exceed work goals for productivity, quality, and turnaround time while providing excellent customer service.
• Adhere to Chase Fair Lending practices.
• Apply relevant technical and computer expertise.
