About The Position

Provide clinical oversight, consultation and mentorship, ensuring that patient care meets the highest standards and complies with state, federal and professional guidelines. Work will be completed remotely with periodic, scheduled onsite visits.

Requirements

• Active unrestricted PA license
• 5 years as Adult Board Certified Psychiatrist
• 2 years experience as Collaborating Physician for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
• COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement: Where permitted by applicable law, candidates must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary collaborating physician including prescriptive authority agreement as detailed in Pa.Code §49.21.251 and Pa.Code §49.21.284
• Meet monthly with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical guidance and case review.
• Review and provide feedback on clinical documentation of Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at agreed upon intervals during onboarding and for one week quarterly thereafter.
• Communicate quality concerns and developmental resources needed to VP of Operations and Quality and VP of Medical Services.
