The Opportunity As Geviti continues to scale its nationwide clinical team, we are seeking a highly experienced and mission-aligned Collaborating Physician to support our Nurse Practitioners across the following states: AL, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MI, MS, MO, NJ, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, WI, VA This fully remote 1099 contractor role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to a cutting-edge model of functional, integrative care. The ideal candidate will hold active medical licenses in the above listed states, with deep experience in integrative medicine, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and peptide therapies. In this role, you’ll provide oversight and support to advanced practice providers, ensuring high standards of care delivery and compliance across a multi-state footprint.

Requirements

  • Board-certified MD or DO with unrestricted, active medical licensure in the above listed states
  • DEA licensure (preferred; required in certain states depending on scope)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience, with a strong preference for functional or integrative medicine backgrounds
  • Extensive experience in hormone replacement therapy, peptide protocols, and compounding pharmacy coordination
  • Familiarity with preventive, data-informed care approaches
  • Proven ability to oversee multiple providers in a telehealth setting
  • Technologically proficient and comfortable in a fully remote environment
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance across multi-state practice

Responsibilities

  • Serve as collaborating/supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners in assigned states in accordance with state laws and scope-of-practice requirements
  • Conduct required chart reviews and documentation audits per state-specific regulations
  • Provide clinical guidance, case consultation, and escalation support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with state collaboration agreements and regulatory standards
  • Maintain awareness of evolving telehealth and prescribing regulations in assigned jurisdictions
  • Partner with Geviti’s clinical leadership to uphold care quality, safety, and documentation standards
  • Participate in occasional virtual team meetings (minimal time requirement)
