Key Responsibilities: Assist with all internal HR Related inquiries or requests and administer and enforce HR policy and procedures and corporate policies and procedures. As a Cold Kitchen Assembly Lead at dnata Catering, your main responsibility will be to meticulously prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items for airline passengers. Following standardized recipes and portioning guidelines, you will ensure consistency and quality in the final products. Your expertise in food handling and hygiene practices will be crucial in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation. Collaborating closely with the culinary team, you will understand their menu requirements and ensure timely production and delivery of cold food items. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to identify process improvements will contribute to exceptional food experiences for airline passengers. dnata is one of the world’s largest air services providers. Requirements

  • Proven experience in cold food preparation and assembly, preferably in a high-volume or airline catering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and hygiene practices, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage inventory and track product performance.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and consistency.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid food handler's certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Meticulously prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items for airline passengers, following standardized recipes and portioning guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency and quality in the final products, paying attention to presentation and taste.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and sanitation throughout the preparation process, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to understand their menu requirements and ensure timely production and delivery of cold food items.
  • Manage inventory levels, tracking product performance, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of ingredients and supplies.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and innovations, incorporating new techniques and ingredients into cold food preparations.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities, working efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold (35-40 Degrees).
