About The Position

We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as a Cold End Operator-Bagger/Bundler. Packaging Machine Operators are members of the Production line and work as a team to ensure production goals are achieved. The position is scheduled from 5:00PM-5:00AM on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. Requirements

• Experience in machine set-up and computers.
• Drive, commitment, positive attitude, and high energy.
• Must know how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Good people and communication skills: must be able to communicate well with all departments.
• Must be a team player.
• The ability to read and understand written instructions.
• Hands-on problem solver.
• Must be able to take direction and work at times with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Foil roll and Bundler roll changes as needed.
• Keep bagger and bundler deck in proper condition and ensure baggers and bundlers are adequately supplied.
• Remove and store excess bag rolls or bundler rolls in order to maintain a safe work area.
• Re-wrap undamaged product and properly report and dispose of damaged/faulty product.
• Maintain proper inventory of labels.
• Locate and correct all improperly labeled product.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot packaging equipment.
