Coiling Machine Operator
About The Position
This is a temporary position for a Coiling Machine Operator in McKees Rocks, offering weekly pay ranging from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on experience. The role involves setting up, programming, operating, and tearing down CNC coiling machines to produce precision coil components according to specifications. Key tasks include loading raw materials, adjusting tooling, verifying machine settings before production, and monitoring machine operation to ensure consistent quality. The operator will also be responsible for inspecting finished parts using precision measuring tools, documenting inspection results and production data, and identifying and correcting defects or process issues, or notifying supervision as needed.

Responsibilities
- Set up, program, operate, and tear down CNC coiling machines to produce precision coil components in accordance with specifications
- Load raw materials, adjust tooling, and verify machine settings prior to production runs
- Monitor machine operation during production to ensure consistent quality and make necessary adjustments as required
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical inspection equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and quality compliance
- Document inspection results and production data in accordance with company procedures
- Identify defects, out-of-tolerance conditions, or process issues and take corrective action or notify supervision as needed
