Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical certifications or related training.
  • 2+ years of medium-large assembly experience preferred.
  • Ability to see and distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
  • Good strength to lift up to 51 lbs.
  • Quick hand and arm movement for grasping and manipulating objects.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.
  • Ability to travel on short notice domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Take raw materials such as copper and stainless tubing and turn them into an induction coil as specified.
  • Use math skills for adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and working with fractions.
  • Read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, and Vernier's.
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude with hardware sizes, plumbing fittings, and tools.
  • Possess the ability and/or knowledge to TIG weld.
  • Read and comprehend mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure correct setup of coil windings.
  • Check work using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and scales.
  • Setup and utilize fixtures and aids, adapting tooling as necessary.
  • Layout, measure, and mark dimensions on material according to drawings or templates.
  • Operate fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, and presses.
  • Use hand or power tools to trim, file, grind, deburr, and buff surfaces.
  • Perform rework, repair, and modification as directed.
  • Clean work prior to solder and assembly using solvents and degreasers.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers.
  • Perform general housekeeping as required.
  • Be regular in attendance and willing to work overtime.
  • Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
  • Operate an overhead crane, drive a forklift, and electric pallet truck.
