Requirements

  • MATH ABILITY Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
  • REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred
  • Read and write English
  • Knowledge of company safety policies
  • Able to read Tape measure
  • Prior Machine Operating experience

Responsibilities

  • Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet.
  • Assembles parts to specification.
  • Builds frame; installs fins, tubes, hardware, and other purchased parts into coil body per specification
  • Correctly labels coils with build day and Mfg #.
  • Moves and repositions coils to the expansion area using cranes.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork to include quality sticker and daily hours.
  • Inspect coils for split collars, dented hairpins and damaged fins.
  • Reworks or disassembles coils that have been damaged or built incorrectly.
  • Utilizes basic hand tools such as pliers, wrenches and hand drills.
  • Trains new or existing employees, if necessary.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Wears all required PPE.
  • Performs other routine duties.
  • Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision.
  • Responsible for wearing all required PPE and following applicable safety/environmental rules.
  • Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant.
