Requirements
- MATH ABILITY Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to read a tape measure. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
- REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education preferred
- Read and write English
- Knowledge of company safety policies
- Able to read Tape measure
- Prior Machine Operating experience
Responsibilities
- Identifies proper parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheet.
- Assembles parts to specification.
- Builds frame; installs fins, tubes, hardware, and other purchased parts into coil body per specification
- Correctly labels coils with build day and Mfg #.
- Moves and repositions coils to the expansion area using cranes.
- Completes appropriate paperwork to include quality sticker and daily hours.
- Inspect coils for split collars, dented hairpins and damaged fins.
- Reworks or disassembles coils that have been damaged or built incorrectly.
- Utilizes basic hand tools such as pliers, wrenches and hand drills.
- Trains new or existing employees, if necessary.
- Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
- Wears all required PPE.
- Performs other routine duties.
- Responsible for reporting work related injuries and near misses to supervision.
- Responsible for wearing all required PPE and following applicable safety/environmental rules.
- Responsible for correcting or reporting unsafe conditions observed within the plant.
