About The Position

ALTA IT Services is seeking a Cognos TM1 Architect for a contract-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in developing and maintaining TM1 applications using version 11.2 or higher. This role involves supporting an IT engineering and consulting company on a large transportation program in Jersey City, NJ, with a hybrid work model. The position requires strong technical skills in Cognos TM1 tools, SQL, and finance modules, along with excellent communication abilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in development and maintenance of TM1 applications using version 11.2 or higher.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Cognos TM1 tools (Perspective, Architect, Performance Modeler, and Contributor web).
• Experience in developing complex TI processes and web applications.
• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with finance modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Receivable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in installation and configuration of Cognos TM1 and BI tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain TM1 applications using Cognos TM1 version 11.2 or higher.
• Create complex TI processes and web applications.
• Implement security measures for data, application, and object levels.
• Document functional and technical designs for TM1 applications.
• Interact with various levels of the organization to gather requirements and provide updates.

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $70/hr. W2 for the contract period.
• Annual Salary Range: $130,000 range annually plus benefits.
