About The Position

As a Coffee Shop Barista, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive prompt, efficient, and friendly service. This position involves reviewing and filling customer orders for the day, handling food safely, and maintaining a clean and neat work area. You will be responsible for creating a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service to both customers and team members. In this role, you will be expected to exhibit core competencies such as partnerships, a growth mindset, results orientation, customer focus, and professionalism. You will report to the District Store Director, Store Manager, and Assistant Managers of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home, as well as the Food Service Director and Coffee Shop Department Manager. This position does not have any direct reports. Your primary duties will include providing excellent customer service, greeting customers with a smile, assisting them in finding products, taking orders, and ensuring that the food supply is fresh and adequately stocked. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the work area, handling food safely, and adhering to company policies and guidelines. Additionally, you may be required to assist in other areas of the store as needed and perform other job-related duties as required.
