About The Position
The Coffee Shop Attendant provides friendly and efficient service to all guests. This role prepares beverages, handles food items, and supports daily operations to ensure a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment.
Requirements
- Customer service experience preferred, ideally in food, beverage, or hospitality
- Strong communication and people skills
- Basic math skills and comfort with payment transactions
- Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and take orders with a positive and helpful attitude
- Prepare and serve beverages and light food items according to recipes and standards
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process payments and handle cash responsibly
- Keep the coffee shop clean, stocked, and organized, including counters, equipment, and seating areas
- Maintain product quality and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift
- Assist with opening and closing tasks
- Provide prompt solutions to guest questions or concerns
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth service flow
- Other duties may be assigned by management
