About The Position

We are loooking for qualified applicants to work in our Coffee Shops at Rio Grande, Eastview and Riviersided. This space will provide breakfast, lunch, and snack items as well as coffee’s, and various other items. Our ideal candidate is kind, positive, and works well with others. They also believe in quality, consistency and working in a clean, organized, and inclusive environment where respect and dignity is prioritized.

Requirements

Previous experience in a professional kitchen and/or a barista outlet
Knowledge and understanding of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Understanding of how to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and able to multitask
Team-oriented attitude
Good people skills
Display a working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu.

Nice To Haves

Preferred experience working with “TOAST” point of sale system.

Responsibilities

Consistently ensure that stations mise en place is prepped, seasoned, and stocked throughout service and overall station remains clean and organized.
Effectively participates in a professionally run service period, ensuring excellence in cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication.

Benefits

Full-time faculty and staff employees who work in full-time and/or part-time positions at the college are eligible for ACC medical benefits effective the first of the month after their first 60 days of employment.
