About The Position

The Coffee Sales Advisor is a part-time role focused on promoting Nespresso's premium coffee and espresso machines within select retail locations. This position involves engaging with customers through live demonstrations, providing tastings, and sharing knowledge about the brand's sustainable practices. The advisor will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales by showcasing the quality and technology behind Nespresso products.

Requirements

• Retail, sales, or training related experience.
• Enthusiast of coffee related beverages.
• Previous food demonstration experience a plus!
• Engaging attitude with superior interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable presenting to individuals and groups.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food or beverage sales.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Exude enthusiasm and passion for the Nespresso brand at all times.
• Provide customers with the full Nespresso experience that includes coffee tastings, engaging machine demonstrations, and recommending product solutions that cater to customers' specific flavor preferences.
• Increase product sales and machine registrations through best-in-class demos, knowledge of products, and coffee expertise.
• End demo speeches using positive sales closing techniques and conveying Nespresso's sustainability and recycling credentials.
• Train store associates to communicate Nespresso information with confidence.
• Operate the Nespresso Trade mobile app to register machine purchases and coffee orders.
• Maintain tasting table/demo area in accordance with proper hygiene requirements and visual standards.
• Ensure demo machines are clean and functional.
• Establish positive professional connections with store leaders and associates.
• Participate in required program training sessions and team conference calls.
• Complete surveys with feedback and pictures after each shift.
