We are Canteen.  Job Summary:The Technician Manager (coffee/water/filtration equipment) leads and develops a team of technicians responsible for repairing and maintaining coffee and water machines. In this role, you will oversee all service calls, prioritize and assign work, track progress, and ensure timely, high-quality completion. You will coach and mentor technicians, provide guidance on troubleshooting and repairs, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. The Technician Manager also evaluates equipment for repair needs, monitors long-term performance, and ensures the team delivers exceptional service while growing their skills and maintaining high operational standards.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of coffee, water, and filtration equipment-cooler repair experience - a Plus!
  • Knowledge of brands like DeJong Duke, Follet, Hoshizaki, and Cafection
  • Must have light plumbing knowledge
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring a team
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues efficiently
  • Experience with scheduling, ticketing systems, and field service operations

Responsibilities

  • Lead field technicians and provide technical guidance to team members
  • Repair and maintain coffee and water machines
  • Schedule and oversee completion of service tickets
  • Manage install teams responsible for running water lines, connecting, and programming office coffee equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and routine filter changes
  • Ensure timely and high-quality service across all assigned tasks
  • Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, including confirming that off-site equipment matches internal records (e.g., One Cup inventory)
  • Develop and implement technician training programs
  • Communicate with customers regarding service issues, timelines, and resolutions to ensure high satisfaction
