Located in the heart of San Diego, we serve high-quality coffee, tea, and fresh bites in an environment that uplifts and inspires. We’re seeking a driven and passionate Coffee Shop Manager to help lead our team and grow with us. Overview: As a Barista, you play a crucial role in creating a positive customer experience in our coffee shop. You will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience as a barista is a strong plus
Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role
Knowledge of different coffee brewing techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and preparation
Ability to handle cash transactions and use POS systems
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Team player with a positive and friendly attitude

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
Interact with customers to take orders and provide recommendations
Operate coffee-making equipment and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Handle cash and card transactions accurately
Ensure the presentation and quality of beverages meet the established standards
Restock and organize inventory, including coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Manage customer inquiries and resolve any complaints or issues
Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow
Follow company policies and procedures at all times
