About The Position

The student will be responsible for securing, roasting, and packaging coffee to be provided to Sodexo and Follett. They will also be responsible for communications and outreach.

Requirements

• Chapman University student, primarily pursuing a degree in the FSN department.

Responsibilities

• Securing, roasting, and packaging coffee to be provided to Sodexo and Follett.
• Communications and outreach.
• Source coffee from a coffee distributor.
• Roast coffee at a third party roastery.
• Apply labels to the coffee packages and package the coffee using a heat sealer.
• Provide the packaged coffee to Sodexo and the Agora bookstore.
• Measure the moisture content and Agtron score of the green and roasted coffees.
