Daytime shifts with flexibility, Monday-Friday Location: We only accept candidates from WI, IA, or MN Department: Clinical Documentation Improvement/Inpatient Facility Coding What You Will Do: Review and translate inpatient clinical documentation to assign accurate ICD‑10‑CM/PCS codes and determine the appropriate MS‑DRG or APR‑DRG. Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and alignment with all official guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Clarify documentation with providers using national query standards and collaborate with Clinical Documentation Specialists. Verify and abstract key data elements to support billing, quality metrics, research, and reporting. Maintain coding competency through continuing education and active certification.
